Presented by Peter Newby and Linda McHenry - Manage 2000 release 8.1 continues to grow through annual service pack releases. This session will cover significant new development and updates now available in release 8.1 service pack 6. This will include some items of interest from service packs 4 and 5, as well as a peek at some of the on-going work which will be released as service pack 7.
Presented by Marc Harbeson - The NovoMotion and NovoNexus software systems are in their second decade of operation, and the process of constant development continues. We will detail the new functionality in the NovoMotion 6.0 product release. We will look at the latest in NovoNexus WMS offerings, including new Android based handheld functionality.

We will also review preparatory first steps for the process—steps that help ensure a smooth upgrade and a positive end-user experience.

Presented by Peter Newby and Linda McHenry - Since Manage 2000 release 7.1, web portals have formed a major view into the Manage 2000 data model with portals focused on customers, items, sales orders, work orders, vendors and more. These present standard views out of the box. However, there are numerous tailoring features built into the Manage 2000 portal network, and new opportunities to tailor and optimize user experiences have been added throughout the 8.1 release cycle. This session will review possibilities for enhancing Manage 2000 portal views for your company and your users through various tailoring features.

Presented by Marc Harbeson - The basic concepts of building automated M2k Master Agent scripts will be addressed. We will also look at a number of tips and tricks for getting the most out of scripted Master Agent automation.
Presented by Trey Miller - I-Descriptors, virtual dictionaries in UniData, are important tools to utilize when normalizing data for SQL server delivery with NovoMotion. There are also special @-variables in NovoMotion which can save you from having to construct a formal I-Descriptor. We'll investigate when one technique is preferred over the other.
